Badia a Passignano Gran Selezione is produced exclusively from the selection of the best Sangiovese grapes from the homonymous estate located in the heart of the Chianti Classico.
The area has been renowned for wine production since the year one thousand. The vineyards extend over a soil rich in limestone with an average amount of clay at a height of about 300 meters above sea level.
Refinement takes place in the historic cellars of the 10th century Badia di Passignano.
