One of the most loved Candido wines, icon, prestige and symbol of the entire wine production of Puglia, with a lot of experience and history behind it.
The Cappello di Prete Candido was the first red wine from Negroamaro passed in small barrels and bottled, the only Apulian wine mentioned in the famous “1001 Wines to try in your life” by Neil Backett, with a preface by Hugh Johnson, awarded the Golden Star awarded to the best wines in Italy for character, typicality and precise expressive personality.
The depth of the ruby red color and the purplish edge characterize this wine with an intense aroma, spicy notes and a delicate hint of vanilla. The great structure and the full and velvety taste make it of remarkable breed.
