Our first stop is to an organic farm at the southern, ideal ecotourism destination in Corfu, close to a lake that hosts rare species of flora and fauna!
Once we arrive in the farm we’ll have the chance to lose our selves in Greek Cooking lessons. Cooking is funny itself, but is getting much more interesting when you know that all the materials are natural and organic.
There, we will prepare together a traditional Corfiot pie with fresh vegetables and also, the famous ‘tzatziki’ sauce!
We will seize the opportunity for a short walk going down the hill, talking about how healthy the food is when comes straight from the farm to the table, so a delicious small meal, with all that we cooked, and drinks will be prepared for us to enjoy!
After this experience we will have time to enjoy a lovely beach nearby, with sand dunes, that stretches for more than 2,5 km and is considered one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the Ionian complex.
A road separates the beach with a lake, one of the main attractions of the area which is the home for numerous endangered bird species.
Then we will return to the farm to enjoy our meal in an organic restaurant which is located inside the farm. There they cook traditional Greek and Corfiot dishes with the traditional agricultural way of cooking, using only organic ingredients from the farm or from local certificated producers.
